If the County changes a date

The County sets these dates and can change them. If ARC publishes a different deadline, we will update this page and note the change here. Until then, treat the County’s own page as the final word, and file early rather than on the last day.

Village and city assessments run separately

These dates cover the County assessment reviewed by ARC. A village, the City of Long Beach, or the City of Glen Cove assesses separately, with its own process and deadlines, so check with the local assessor rather than assuming the ARC window applies.

Your privacy.

The calculator and homeowner guide run in your browser. We don’t collect your answers, and we don’t use advertising trackers. If you ask for a filing-window reminder, a message when we can serve your property, or a watch on a property, we store the email address you enter, your name if you give it, the property address the request is about, the kind of message you asked for, and the page you asked from. For a property watch, the address and property record come from the County record you were viewing; otherwise it is the address you typed, which a failed search fills in for you. We use these details only to send that message. The property checker does not keep the addresses you search unless you ask for a notice.

The property checker sends the address you enter to our service to find matching County records.

We use self-hosted, cookieless Umami analytics to understand aggregate site visits, guide opens, and whether property searches return results. Search event data does not include your entered address or property details. It does not use cookies or identify you. Our hosting provider may process ordinary request data, such as IP addresses, to operate and secure this website. If you follow a link to a county website, its privacy policy applies.
